Yes, Contrapill Duo can terminate two weeks of pregnancy. In fact, it can terminate a pregnancy of 49 days (7 weeks) duration or less safe but sometimes there are chances that it might not fully terminate the pregnancy and some remaining tissues from the abortion are left in the womb in these cases. These remaining tissues are removed through a minor surgical procedure known as D&C (Dilation and curettage) procedure that involves dilatation of cervix and removal of the remaining tissue of the pregnancy from the lining of the womb through scraping (curettage).

If Contrapill Duo is taken alone without mifepristone then it takes around 10–15 hours interval for abortion but in most of the women upto 80%–90% will abort within 24 hours interval.
