Czar should be applied topically (on the skin) once daily for 2 - 6 weeks or as advised by a doctor. It should be applied after cleaning the affected area, allow it to dry, and then gently rub the medicine on the affected area. Do not forget to wash your hands after applying this drug. Over-the-counter ketoconazole shampoo is usually used every 3 to 4 days for up to 8 weeks after that use it as per the need.
Yes, Czar can cause itching and burning sensation. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you experience excessive itching after applying this drug then inform your dermatologist immediately without further delay and follow his/her instruction.
Czar contains ketoconazole which works by blocking the ergosterol synthesis leading to membrane abnormalities in the fungus which is necessary for fungal cell membrane growth. Hence in this way, it kills the fungus by destroying its cell membrane and treats the fungal infection.
