Deksel is a brand name of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and it comes in the form of a tablet, capsule, sachet, and injection. It is a prescription drug that is used in the management of diseases that results from vitamin D3 deficiency (rickets, osteoporosis, and osteomalacia) and to treat nutritional deficiency of vitamin D3 due to imbalanced diet and its deficiency which is caused by some disease states (malabsorption syndrome, Crohn's disease, and liver diseases).
