Ibyra, containing the active ingredient Olaparib, is a PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitor used primarily in cancer treatment. It is indicated for the treatment of certain types of ovarian, breast, prostate, and pancreatic cancers. Olaparib works by preventing cancer cells from repairing their DNA, leading to cell death.

Uses

• Ovarian Cancer: For patients with BRCA-mutated advanced ovarian cancer.

• Breast Cancer: Treatment of HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer with germline BRCA mutations.

• Prostate Cancer: For metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) with BRCA1/2 mutations.

• Pancreatic Cancer: Used in patients with germline BRCA-mutated metastatic pancreatic cancer.

Mechanism of Action

Dosage

General Dosage:
