Interaction between Alcohol and Zincoderm G
Due to lack of research, there is no information about the side effects of taking Zincoderm G with alcohol.
Application of Zincoderm G on the face must be avoided but if it has been advised by your doctor then you can use it only for a short-term period not more than 5 days because the skin on your face thins easily.
Zincoderm G is used for the short-term treatment up to 2 weeks and if required then maximum up to 4 weeks. You are advised to use it as directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine longer than prescribed by your doctor to avoid the unpleasant side effect.
Yes, Zincoderm G might cause dry skin in few cases only. However, the exact cause behind dry skin is unknown. If you are experiencing excessive dryness of skin after applying this drug then you are advised to use a skin moisturizer. Skin moisturizer should be applied only after 30 minutes of applying this drug so that the Zincoderm G can be absorbed by the skin.
No, Zincoderm G does not cause yeast infections. It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug.
No, Zincoderm G alone should not be used for jock itch also known as tinea cruris because it is a fungal infection and Zincoderm G is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Zincoderm G should not be used for the treatment of jock itch. For the treatment of jock itch, you can use a combination of Zincoderm G and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
