Yes, Aldostix may cause itching or rashes but it occurs rarely. If you experience excessive rashes or itching then consult it with your doctor without any further delay.
Ideally, the tablet has to be taken once or twice daily. It can be taken anytime but you are advised to take it in the morning because it causes more frequent urination which can disturb your sleep in the night. It can be taken with or without food but it is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset.
No, use of Aldostix does not cause hair loss in the patients who are taking it. However, if you notice any unusual hair loss then consult it with your doctor.
Aldostix is not meant to reduce weight and it can be harmful to patients to take this medicine without doctor's advice because it can cause dehydration due to excessive urination which results in loss of electrolytes from your body. Loss of electrolytes from your body can cause symptoms such as muscle cramps, weakness, and tiredness.
Do not take Aldostix with ibuprofen until and unless prescribed by your doctor. However, if you are receiving this combination, drink plenty of water and also monitored blood pressure and kidney functions as well.
