Alzide is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Heartburn. Secondary and off-label uses of Alzide have also been mentioned below.
The correct dosage of Alzide depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
The most common side effects of Alzide are Diarrhoea, Headache, Nausea or vomiting. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Alzide can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. These side effects of Alzide are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Alzide has a Severe effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers.
