Epitan is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Epilepsy. Secondary and off-label uses of Epitan have also been mentioned below.

The right dosage of Epitan depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

Epitan also has some side effects, the most common being Vertigo. While these are the most often observed Epitan side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Epitan normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

Epitan is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate), Respiratory Depression, Liver Disease are examples of such conditions.
