Yes, Freshup may cause constipation in a few cases only. It is a rare side effect of this drug. The exact cause of constipation is unknown. If you are experiencing constipation after taking this drug then try to take laxatives such as isabgol or lactulose and eat less spicy highly fibrous food.
Take one tablet of Freshup at bedtime or as advised by your doctor. Ideally, oral Freshup should be taken empty stomach because the presence of food might affect the absorption of this drug from the stomach. Precautions must be taken in patients with obstructive sleep apnoea, myasthenia gravis, and compromised respiratory function.
