Larium, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Malaria. Other than this, Larium has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Larium. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Larium as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Larium go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Larium's effect during pregnancy is Moderate and Safe while nursing. In addition, Larium's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Larium related warnings section.
