Dilation of the blood vessel reduces the blood pressure.
Olmark A is a brand name of amlodipine. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called calcium channel blocker. It is available in solid oral dosage forms like tablet and capsule. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (high BP) and coronary artery disease. It is not recommended for heart failure.
