Interaction between Alcohol and Oxyvon Forte
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Oxyvon Forte.
Dizziness is a feeling of light-headedness and unbalance. Yes, Oxyvon Forte has been associated with dizziness and overdose may cause fainting as well. Therefore, if you experience dizziness do not force yourself to perform any activity instead lie down take rest and inform your doctor if it persists for more than half an hour.
Oxyvon Forte is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which is used for the treatment of tenderness, swelling, stiffness, and pain associated with osteoarthritis in which there is a breakdown of the lining of the joints, and rheumatoid arthritis in which there is swelling of the lining of the joints. It is also used for alleviation of the menstrual pain, before and during the menstrual cycle. It is also used to relieve fever and pain associated with a headache, minor aches, sprains, common cold, toothache, and backache. It also shows the antiplatelet effect which means it prevents the formation of blood clots. Oxyvon Forte is used for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis (a chronic skin disease causing scaling and swelling), gouty arthritis (which develops from the built up of some chemical in the joints) and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis that affects the spine).
Painkillers like Oxyvon Forte should not be used if there is decreased kidney function as they may reduce the supply of blood to the kidneys. Also, long-term use can also impair the normal kidneys. Therefore, it is important that you talk to your doctor in case you have reduced kidney function. You should use Oxyvon Forte exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Oxyvon Forte is available in the form of a tablet, chewable tablet, suspension and drops, and syrup. Prescription Oxyvon Forte is taken every 4 to 6 hours for arthritis and pain. Adults and children older than 12 years may take non-prescription Oxyvon Forte every 4 to 6 hours. Children and infants may be given Oxyvon Forte every 6 to 8 hours. It is important to take Oxyvon Forte with food or milk so as to prevent stomach upset. If you are taking Oxyvon Forte every day, remember to take it at the same time. Oxyvon Forte is also available in combination with other drugs for treating cold and cough. If you have prescribed a combination containing Oxyvon Forte, do not take any non-prescription drug containing Oxyvon Forte as it might cause overdosage. Shake the drops and suspensions well before use.
Oxyvon Forte should be taken as long as it has been prescribed by your doctor. Longterm use is associated with various adverse effects like stomach upset, kidney damage, heart problems, etc., therefore, stop the usage if you experience any adverse effect.
