Bronchonib, containing the active ingredient Nintedanib, is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used primarily for the treatment of fibrotic lung diseases. It helps slow the progression of conditions like idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD), and other chronic fibrotic lung disorders.
Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF): Reduces disease progression and slows lung function decline.
Systemic Sclerosis-Associated Interstitial Lung Disease (SSc-ILD): Reduces lung fibrosis.
Chronic Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases with a Progressive Phenotype (PF-ILD): Slows lung function decline.
Nintedanib is a multiple tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets receptors involved in the regulation of fibrotic processes, including VEGFR, FGFR, and PDGFR. By inhibiting these receptors, it helps reduce fibroblast proliferation, a key factor in lung fibrosis.
