Clindasure is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It works by preventing the protein synthesis in bacteria which are essential for it. The absence of these vital proteins results in stunned bacterial cell growth due to which bacteria become vulnerable and dies. Clindasure is effective against a wide range of both gram negative and gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Prevotella melaninogenica, and lostridium perfringens.
No, Clindasure does not cause a headache. It has not been reported by the patient's who are taking this drug. However, if you are experiencing a headache after taking this drug, take a mild painkiller, applying balms and complete rest even after this if the pain does not subside then discuss with your doctor immediately.
Yes, oral Clindasure causes diarrhoea. It is a common side effect of this drug. To keep yourself well hydrated, drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this drug. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug then discuss with your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Yes, Clindasure can treat strep. It is used in the treatment of strep throat (pharyngitis) caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. Since it is a prescription drug and an antibiotic, you are advised to not take this drug by yourself to avoid bacterial resistance.
Yes, Clindasure can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
