Staxom is a brand name of moxifloxacin and it comes in form of a tablet, infusion, eye drops, and eye ointment. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drug known as fluoroquinolones. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic which is used for the treatment of bacterial infections such as skin infections, eye infections, intra-abdominal infections, chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, and sinusitis.
