E 2 is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Gel. Post Menopausal Osteoporosis, Urethritis, Vaginal atrophy are some of its major therapeutic uses. E 2 also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
The right dosage of E 2 depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
E 2 also has some side effects, the most common being Weight gain, Metrorrhagia, Edema. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of E 2 as well, which are listed below.
