Omecip is a brand name for omeprazole. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medications called proton pump inhibitor. It is used for the treatment of erosive esophagitis, peptic and duodenal ulcer, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also used in combination with a certain antibiotic to prevent ulcer associated with H. pylori.
